Welcome to the 20th Annual Low Tide Ride & Stride!
On Saturday, June 17th 2017 at 9:00am, the Coronado Rotary Club will hold an 8.2 mile run, walk or bike down the beautiful beach between Imperial Beach and Coronado. Please note that this year's event falls on SATURDAY and starts ONE HOUR LATER AT 9:00AM!
The Event starts at Camp Surf YMCA:
560 Silver Strand Blvd, Imperial Beach, CA 91932
The Event ends at Coronado Sunset Park:
101 Ocean Blvd, Coronado, CA 92118
The race coincides with the lowest tide of the month, so running, walking or biking is easy and fun for all ages. The course travels along Navy property that is only opened to the public once a year, specifically for this event. At the end of the race is a fun, family oriented party with kids games, music and give aways. All participants receive a medal and long sleeved T-shirt. Additional awards will be given to 1st, 2nd & 3rd place finishers in several age categories for both runners and bikers.
Major proceeds of the event will be going towards local Wounded Veteran causes. Coronado Rotary has a long tradition of supporting the Military and is proud to dedicate this race to those who made the commitment of Service Above Self.
